Do you vote in political elections?

Voting for political leaders can sometimes be a difficult decision for the common person. It becomes even more difficult when none of the candidates embody a solid enough integrity to earn that vote.

But then, we have to vote one of the lesser evils eventually to avoid the feeling of powerlessness in determining who gets to rule our lives even if for just one tenure.

So we vote for at least that temporary relief that we are not passive and powerless about how our lives will go. However, there are people who have resigned from voting completely because they don’t believe that any leader is going to do any differently than politicking as usual.

Well, voting is every citizen’s right, but we’re not sure what the right is about since in some cases, there is a body of a few prominent politicians who get to override the polls and pick who they want irrespective of how the masses vote. So, what exactly is voting rights? Isn’t that just another exciting catchphrase that holds next to no meaning but gets people all riled up and excited to the point of violence? Is it really a right or the illusion of a right?

Well, still, we vote!
